NFL satisfies sweet tooth with Skittles

Confectionary brand Skittles has agreed a long-term deal to become an official sponsor of the NFL American football league.

Skittles first became associated with the NFL at Super Bowl XLVIII earlier this year but this is the first long-term activation for the brand with the league.

Under the partnership, the terms of which were undisclosed, Skittles will partake in a range of retail and in-stadium activations under the promotional tagline of “Make Game Day Awesomer”.

Skittles parent company Mars has an established relationship with the NFL, its Snickers brand having sponsored the league since 2003.
