UK brewer Greene King has agreed shirt sponsorship deals with English Premiership rugby union team Newcastle Falcons and Newcastle Thunder, which competes in the third tier of English rugby league.
Greene King has agreed an 18-month deal to become the Falcons’ principal partner. The agreement will cover the remainder of the 2015-16 Premiership season and the 2016-17 campaign. Greene King’s branding will appear on the club’s playing jerseys as part of the deal.
The brewer has also signed a season-long shirt sponsorship deal with Newcastle Thunder, whose 2016 League One campaign begins next month.
In addition, Greene King has been granted exclusive pouring rights for the next five years at Kingston Park, where both teams play their home fixtures. Seasonal beers will be made available to supporters to promote the partnership.
