British Basketball League team Newcastle Eagles has sealed a naming rights deal with construction firm Esh Group.
The agreement builds upon an existing three-year relationship that made Esh Group the team’s headline sponsor. From the 2013-14 season the club will now be known as Esh Group Eagles Newcastle.
Newcastle is the most successful team in BBL history, claiming five titles. It lost last season’s play-off final to Leicester Riders and begins the 2013-14 campaign with a local derby against Durham Wildcats on September 27.
