Sportswear brand Asics has agreed a partnership with organisers of the 2015 Netball World Cup national team tournament.
Asics will serve as the official footwear provider of the event, which takes place at Sydney Olympic Park from August 7-16, under a 12-month deal.
Additionally, Asics will be the official footwear of Netball Australia and the country’s national and under-21 teams.
The Japanese company joins Australian pharmacy chain Chemist Warehouse among the ‘Starting Seven’ top tier of tournament partners.
Netball World Cup 2015 chief executive Marne Fechner said further additions to the Starting Seven would be announced soon.
