NBL signs up title sponsor

Fast food restaurant chain Hungry Jack’s has been unveiled as the title sponsor of Australia’s National Basketball League club competition.

The length of the deal was not disclosed but it will at least cover the 2017-18 NBL season, which got underway yesterday (Thursday).

The partnership marks a return to the NBL for Hungry Jack’s, which first served as a title sponsor of the league in 1987.

As part of the new agreement, the company’s logo will feature on player jerseys, while it will also receive on-site branding and signage, an exclusive Hungry Jack’s Heritage Month promotion in January and integrated advertising opportunities over the course of the season.

The deal also names Hungry Jack’s as the NBL’s exclusive quick service restaurant partner.

“To have a brand like Hungry Jack’s once again become our naming-rights partner is a significant moment for the NBL and a huge endorsement of the growth and direction of the league,” NBL owner and executive chairman Larry Kestelman said.
