Australia’s National Basketball League has entered into a partnership with outdoor power equipment provider Ego.
The deal will see Ego support the NBL’s ongoing pre-season series with North America’s NBA basketball league.
The partnership began with Melbourne United’s game against the Philadelphia 76ers last week. The NBL-NBA series will see United, Sydney Kings, Adelaide 36ers, New Zealand Breakers and Perth Wildcats play seven games against NBA teams during the 2018 pre-season.
The NBL has also signed a deal with gambling company Sportsbet ahead of the new season, which gets underway on October 11.
