NBL drives off with Europcar extension

The Australian National Basketball League club competition has extended its partnership with car rental company Europcar.

Europcar will continue to serve as the NBL’s official car rental partner during the 2016-17 season, which got underway last week.

As part of the agreement, Europcar will gain brand exposure through digital asset sharing. Fans will also continue to benefit from the company’s services on game days.

NBL general manager Jeremy Loeliger said: “The NBL is part of the global basketball brand and we have a strong agenda to collaborate with leagues across Asia and the US, so the international reach of Europcar is very complementary to our strategy.

“With its strong presence throughout Australia and New Zealand, Europcar will also help us communicate our brand messaging to local NBL audiences, which is pivotal to attracting new fans to our great game.”
