Nationwide Insurance touches down with Dallas Cowboys

Nationwide Insurance has agreed a new sponsorship deal with the Dallas Cowboys in a partnership that will begin with the sponsorship of the National Football League (NFL) side’s pre-season game against the Cincinnati Bengals at Cowboys Stadium on August 24.

The insurance company will also be active in the Game Day Plaza at three additional home games during the 2013 season and will additionally introduce a fan promotion at the beginning of the campaign.

The length of the contract was not disclosed, but the deal marks Nationwide’s first entry into the NFL market.

Cowboy’s defensive end DeMarcus Ware has also become a member of Nationwide Insurance and signed a personal services agreement with the company.
