Energy drinks brand Monster Energy has agreed a multi-year extension to its sponsorship of the International Motorcycling Federation’s (FIM) Motocross World Championship with series organiser Youthstream.
Under the agreement, Monster Energy continues as the exclusive energy drink partner of the Motocross World Championship and title sponsor of the Motocross of Nations and MXGP of USA events.
Additionally, Monster Energy will also be the exclusive energy drink sponsor of the European EMX125 and EMX250 Championships.
Financial terms were not disclosed but Monster Energy, which has backed the Motocross World Championship for the past four years, is set to take part in a series of initiatives to build the profile of the sport.
