MLS partners with Kellogg’s brands ahead of new season

North America’s Major League Soccer has agreed sponsorship deals with Kellogg’s-owned snack brands Pringles and Cheez-It.

Both brands have signed multi-year deals to become official snacks of MLS.

The partnership will grant Pringles and Cheez-It brand integration across digital and video platforms, as well as in-stadium exposure and on-site activation at MLS events.

Pringles and Cheez-It will also launch the Kick It With The Pros Sweepstakes as part of the agreement. The competition will give fans the chance to win tickets to the 2017 MLS All-Star week in Chicago. Winners will enjoy a meet-and-greet session with select MLS players and coaches, all-access passes to the All-Star Game and exclusive merchandise.

“Cheez-It and Pringles are storied brands with a shared history of delivering fun and engaging experiences that bring sports fans together,” Carter Ladd, vice-president of business development for MLS, said. “This partnership will serve passionate soccer fans across the country who are hungry to get closer to the game they love, and we’re excited to welcome both brands to the MLS family.”

The 2017 MLS season gets underway today (Friday).
