Miller Lite has sealed a multi-year partnership with Major League Baseball to become the competition’s official beer partner in Canada.
The length of the deal, which begins immediately in advance of the 2015 All-Star game in Cincinnati on July 14, was not disclosed.
Miller Lite has joined the likes of Copa Airlines, Frito Lay, Gatorade, Gillette and Pepsi as league sponsors in Canada.
“We are excited about our new relationship with Major League Baseball and to be able to engage with baseball fans through our shared passion for the sport,” Miller Lite’s director of marketing, Keith Fawcett, said. “Just like baseball, Miller Lite has an all-American origin and a rich heritage.”
