Mercedes, Williams and Force India sign new partners

The Mercedes, Williams and Force India Formula One teams have each entered into a new commercial partnership ahead of the 2015 season of the motor racing championship.

Travel lifestyle brand TUMI has struck a deal to become an official supplier of the Mercedes team.

Under the multi-year agreement, TUMI will provide the team with its premium Tegra-Lite and Alpha 2 products on an exclusive basis.

Meanwhile, motorsport apparel specialist Alpinestars has agreed a deal to supply its technical performance products to the Williams team.

Although the terms of the deal were undisclosed, it was confirmed that the partnership would run throughout the 2015 season and beyond. Alpinestars products that will be supplied to the team include driving suits, under layers, boots and gloves that are worn by all Williams F1 pit crew and drivers.

In addition, UK-based bespoke tailoring company Apsley has entered into a partnership with Force India.

The one-year deal will run for the duration of the 2015 season.

Under the partnership, Apsley Tailors will become the team’s official supplier of bespoke tailoring and will dress both Sahara Force drivers and senior management with a range of clothing options.
