Car maker Mazda has extended a commercial partnership with Connacht by signing up to serve as the Irish Pro12 rugby union club’s official car sponsor.
The length of the deal, which begins with the 2014-15 season, was not disclosed.
Mazda will provide a fleet of 55 cars to the team and has recruited Connacht star Mils Muliaina as its ambassador for the new season.
Under the agreement, Mazda will also sponsor Connacht’s rugby training clinics across Ireland.
Mazda initially signed up as Connacht’s title sponsor ahead of the 2011-12 season.
