Marseille extends with shirt sponsor

French Ligue 1 football club Olympique de Marseille has extended its partnership with electrical goods manufacturer and retail store chain Boulanger.

Boulanger has been an official supplier of Marseille since the 2015-16 season.

Under the agreement, the company will continue to benefit from visibility on the back of the club’s kit. The length of the new deal was not disclosed.

Boulanger will also sponsor the monthly OM Youth Trophy award.

Marseille chairman Jacques-Henri Eyraud said: “The brand has developed very well in the region and the club is pleased to be accompanied by an industry leader. This step is part of the OM project to surround itself with serious and ambitious partners."
