Australian A-League football team Central Coast Mariners has extended its shirt sponsorship deal with food manufacturing company Mars Food Australia until the end of the 2014-15 season.
Mars Food Australia has been a partner of the Mariners since the A-League’s 2004 inception and a front-of-shirt sponsor from prior to the team’s 2013 championship-winning season through its Masterfoods brand, which will benefit from the branding exposure.
The terms of the deal were undisclosed, but Mars Food confirmed “a significant increase in their financial pledge to the club”.
Masterfoods was the presenting sponsor for the Mariners 3-0 derby triumph over Newcastle Jets this weekend.
