Major League Baseball has announced a multiyear deal with technology giant Google, in which Google Cloud will become the league's official cloud and cloud data and analytics partner.
As part of the deal, Statcast – the automated tool for analyzing player movements and abilities – will now run on Google Cloud. Additionally, for a third season in a row, MLB will use Google Ad Manager and its Dynamic Ad Insertion feature to power its digital advertising business.
