LPGA debuts new travel service following HotelPlanner link-up

The Ladies Professional Golf Association has launched a new travel service after agreeing a sponsorship deal with HotelPlanner.

The deal, the length of which was not disclosed, names HotelPlanner as the official hotel booking resource of the LPGA.

As part of the agreement, the LPGA has launched a dedicated travel section on its website. LPGA Travel will provide a booking experience for discounted hotel rooms for fans, partners, players, teachers, tournaments, media, volunteers and other LPGA associates. LPGA Travel will also act as a resource for meeting planning details.

Kelly Hyne, senior vice-president of LPGA Partnerships, said: “Their (HotelPlanner’s) experience in the hotel industry enabled us to create LPGA Travel as a resource for our fans, players, partners and constituents as we travel the globe. We will rely on their meeting planning services as well for the various needs of the organisation.”

LPGA Travel can be accessed by www.lpga.hotelplanner.com or through links on LPGA.com. The service is open to utilise when booking travel to events, organising private golf trips or setting up business meetings.
