London Irish secures Norton deal

English Premiership rugby union club London Irish has agreed a partnership with security software company Norton.

Part of the Symantec group, Norton becomes the club’s official security software partner. The length of the agreement was not disclosed.

As part of the deal, Norton will receive branding rights inside London Irish’s Madejski Stadium. Its company logo will also appear on the club’s playing shorts. Norton will also provide exclusive offers for London Irish season ticket holders.

“Our Norton Security products are built to perform under pressure for real people in real world situations, and there’s nothing more pressurised than rugby as a sport,” Nick Shaw, general manager in the EMEA region at Norton, said. “For this reason, as well as their ambitious plans for the future, we are pleased to be working with London Irish.”
