Liverpool FC embraces blockchain, signs new global deal with TigerWit

Liverpool FC has embraced the brave new world of block-chain based currency trading, after signing a new partnership with UK fintech brand TigerWit.

Under the new global partnership, TigerWit will become the club’s Official Online Foreign Exchange Trading Partner.

The deal will focus on driving technological development at TigerWit in the UK, Europe and Asia, helping to drive downloads of the TigerWit trading app.

TigerWit will enjoy brand exposure at Anfield and across club social media channels, and will have corporate hospitality and matchday privileges at the stadium.

The brand will also hold collective image rights to Liverpool players, and has already put these rights into action with a TV commercial featuring Naby Keita, Alisson Becker and Georginio Wijnaldum, which was launched this week.

Liverpool FC now joins the ranks of a growing number of Premier League clubs sponsored by currency trading platforms.

Last month Tottenham Hotspur, Leicester City, Newcastle United, Cardiff City, Crystal Palace, Southampton and Brighton & Hove Albion all announced new partnerships with crypto asset trading platform eToro.
