Chinese sports apparel and equipment company Li-Ning has reached a deal to become the title sponsor of the Badminton World Federation’s 2014 World Championships.
The BWF’s second major event of 2014 takes place in Copenhagen on August 25-31 and will award world titles across the five traditional disciplines of men’s and women’s singles and doubles, and mixed doubles.
Li-Ning has an existing four-year sponsorship deal for BWF major events that began in 2013, including the provision of shuttlecocks and court mats throughout the term until 2016.
Additionally, Li-Ning has also recently served as the title sponsor of the BWF Thomas & Uber Cup finals in India.
