Japanese automotive manufacturer Lexus has signed up as a commercial partner of the International Cycling Union’s (UCI) 2015 Road World Championships in the US city of Richmond, Virginia.
As the official automobile of Richmond 2015, Lexus will provide a fleet of almost 100 vehicles to be used by the race caravan, cycling teams and race officials at the event.
The 2015 Road World Championships will take place from September 19-27, with 12 world championship races being held across the nine days of competition.
Lexus – a division of Toyota – joins the likes of TowneBank, grocery store chain Martin’s, the University of Richmond and the Virginia Tourism Corporation as a partner of Richmond 2015.
