Saudi mobile phone operator Jawwy, a subsidiary of telco STC, has agreed a shirt sponsorship deal with Spanish LaLiga football club Levante.
The deal will run until the end of the 2017-18 season. The agreement began yesterday (Sunday) with Levante’s 3-0 defeat at Real Sociedad.
The deal comes after Levante signed Saudi international Fahad Al-Muwallad on loan from Al-Ittihad during the January transfer window.
A number of Saudi players have joined LaLiga clubs as part of a strategic partnership between the league and the General Sports Authority of Saudi Arabia.
