Leicester prepares for its travels with FairFX deal

Travel money specialist FairFX has entered into a partnership with English Premier League football champion Leicester City.

The deal will run for two seasons, from 2016-17 to 2017-18.

FairFX will serve as Leicester’s official FX partner and provide exclusive services for the team’s foreign exchange requirements.

Ian Strafford-Taylor, chief executive of FairFX, said: “There are strong synergies in attitude between us both, with the club having taken on the establishment in the Premier League, and winning, with FairFX continuing to do the same in the foreign exchange industry.

“While the agreement opens up new revenue streams via player transfers, we are also hugely excited by the prospect of offering our highly competitive and technologically innovative services to potential new customers across the LCFC fan-base and corporate network.”

Having won the 2015-16 Premier League title, Leicester is preparing for its debut season in the Uefa Champions League.
