Leaked photos reveal Golden Guardians new esports jersey sponsor

Leaked photos posted online have revealed that US headset brand Plantronics RIG will be the new jersey sponsor of the Golden Guardians, an esports team owned by NBA franchise Golden State Warriors.

The Golden Guardians will compete in the new jerseys in the upcoming League of Legends Championship Series (LCS), and the deal is the Guardians’ first jersey partnership since joining the LCS in 2018.

A Golden Guardians spokesperson confirmed the authenticity of the leaked photos to Esports Observer, but did not provide any further details.

The Golden Guardians, founded by the Golden State Warriors in 2017, were one of the new teams chosen to join the LCS when it moved to a long-term partnership system last year.

In August, the Golden Guardians signed a licensing deal with Fathead to produce a line of wall decals and cardboard cut-outs of the team’s logo.
