Berlin printing firm Laserline has agreed a four-year deal to become an official partner of the Berlin Marathon.
Under the agreement, brokered by the event’s organiser SCC Events and sports marketing company Infront Sports & Media, Laserline will produce 80,000 copies of the official programme for the Berlin Marathon’s 40th anniversary edition on September 29.
Additionally, Laserline will produce certificates for each starter – in excess of 60,000 across the Berlin Marathon’s various events – and benefit from advertising along the route and in both print and online publications.
Sponsorship of the Berlin Marathon expands Laserline’s sporting portfolio, where it has existing deals with Berlin football clubs Hertha BSC and Fuchse Berlin.
The Berlin Marathon forms part of the World Marathon Majors alongside the races in Boston, Chicago, London, New York and Tokyo.
