LaLiga expands SportsHero app partnership to Malaysia

LaLiga has inked its second regional deal in Southeast Asia with Singaporean match predictions app SportsHero.

Under the two-year deal, SportsHero will become LaLiga’s Official Sports Prediction App in Malaysia for the remainder of the 2018-19 season and the whole of the 2019-20 season.

The partnership allows SportsHero to tap into Malaysia’s 4.4 million LaLiga fans through its match predictions platform, whereby users can win exclusive LaLiga prizes and experiences by predicting the outcome of LaLiga matches correctly.

Prizes include VIP tickets to watch LaLiga games, private stadium tours, visits to team training sessions, and access to signed LaLiga merchandise.

SportsHero will also have the right to use all LaLiga club logos within the app, and will run monthly LaLiga competitions such as the LaLiga Hero of the Month and Golden Boot award.

As part of the deal, LaLiga will promote SportsHero on its official Facebook page, geo-targeted to the league’s 400,000 active Facebook followers in Malaysia.

The move follows a similar partnership between LaLiga and SportsHero in Indonesia launched in September this year.
