LaLiga bags a sponsorship brace ahead of new season

LaLiga, the brand name for the top two divisions of Spanish football, has agreed new sponsorship deals with Worten and Samsung.

Worten, a distributor of household appliances and consumer electronics, has agreed a contract which will run until the end of the 2015-16 season and will cover the top-tier Liga and the second-tier Segunda División.

The Spanish division of Korean consumer electronics giant Samsung has also agreed terms for the 2015-16 campaign, which begins today (Friday) with Malaga taking on Sevilla, although LaLiga said its agreement will only cover the top division.

Earlier this week, automotive company Mazda signed an agreement with LaLiga through to the end of the 2015-16 campaign, joining Nike, Sockatyes, Mahou, Sportium and Cabreiroa as a second-tier partner of the league.
