Bookmaker Ladbrokes has entered into a partnership with Australian NRL rugby league club, the Newcastle Knights.
The agreement will run until the end of the current 2017 season, with Ladbrokes branding set to appear on the back of the Knights’ playing jerseys.
In addition, the Ladbrokes logo will feature on the goal post and corner post pads during all Knights home matches at the Newcastle International Sports Centre.
The team is currently 12th in the NRL after winning one and losing two of the opening three games of the season.
Earlier this month, the Knights’ fellow NRL team, Gold Coast Titans, extended its partnership with Ladbrokes. The two-year deal covers the 2017 and 2018 season, with Ladbrokes branding to remain on the lower back of the Titans’ playing jerseys.
