LA Rams sign latest homecoming partner

UNIFY Financial Credit Union has entered into a multi-year partnership with NFL American football team the Los Angeles Rams.

The deal names UNIFY as the official credit union of the Rams and a top-tier homecoming partner of the team, which returned to Los Angeles from St. Louis ahead of the 2016 NFL season.

The company will welcome Rams players and employee staff as its newest Select Employer Group as part of the agreement.

UNIFY will also receive prominent in-season signage at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, along with co-branded digital content and promotions, integration into Rams media content and member, community and marketing programmes.

Promotions such as ticket and merchandise giveaways, along with events with Rams players, cheerleaders and mascots at UNIFY’s local retail branch locations, will also be launched.

Further advertising space will be granted at the Rams Training Camp at University of California, Irvine, with other perks to include pre-season activities, co-branded member promotions, digital platform exposure, participation in special fan events, broadcast and print advertising and additional joint marketing activities. Local outreach events and hands-on support projects will be launched, with UNIFY to partner with the Rams on a ‘Staff Day of Service’ initiative.

UNIFY chief executive Gordon Howe said: “This partnership represents a true alignment of the vision and values of both our brands. With shared Los Angeles roots reaching back to the 1940s, UNIFY and the Rams are both local institutions committed to giving back and supporting the people and businesses in the community.

“The excitement behind the Rams homecoming has been tremendous, and we see this partnership as providing value-added gain to our members, everyone in the Rams organisation, and the communities we serve. We look forward to bringing this partnership to life in creative ways for our members and providing Rams players and staff with UNIFY’s unique brand of delivering financial services.”
