Car manufacturer Kia Motors has entered into a commercial partnership with the England women’s cricket team.
Under the terms of the deal, which is the team’s first standalone sponsorship arrangement, Kia will provide players with its new pro_cee’d GT model during the Women’s Ashes Series against Australia.
The series began this week with a Test at Wormsley, Buckinghamshire and will head into three one-day internationals and Twenty20 matches.
Kia has an existing presence in English cricket with its title sponsorship of Surrey’s iconic Oval ground, which will host the final Ashes Test match between the England and Australia men’s teams later this month.
