Goods manufacturer Kalde has expanded its activity with Turkish sports club Besiktas by agreeing to sponsor the club’s football team and extend its support of its basketball team.
The new deal will run for five years, from June 2014 until June 2019.
The Istanbul club’s football team will carry Kalde branding on the sleeves of their jerseys.
Besiktas’ basketball players will also carry Kalde branding on the back of their jerseys throughout the course of the deal.
The sports clubs said the football sponsorship segment is worth $10m (€7.2m) while the basketball agreement is worth $1.55m.
