JVCKenwood extends backing of World Touring Car Cup

Japanese consumer electronics company JVCKenwood has renewed its sponsorship of the World Touring Car Cup (WTCR) motorsport series.

JVCKenwood agreed the new deal with the series’ promoter, Eurosport Events. The deal will cover the 2019 campaign, which marks JVCKenwood’s 11th consecutive season as a sponsor of WTCR.

JVCKenwood will retain its position as an official series partner of WTCR, and will also continue as the presenting partner for its home event, the WTCR Race of Japan at Suzuka, in October.

The deal grants JVCKenwood a range of benefits, including trackside branding and numerous promotional and corporate hospitality opportunities. During the WTCR JVCKenwood Race of Japan, which will run from October 25-27, the company will also be promoted via television graphics and online.
