Juventus lights up commercial portfolio with Philips partnership

Dutch technology company Philips has agreed a two-year deal to become the official lighting partner of Italian Serie A football club Juventus.

Under the multi-faceted agreement, Philips will receive branding rights across the club’s various media platforms.

The company’s products will also be used to develop the interior of Juventus Stadium, the club’s home ground. Juventus confirmed that the lighting system currently used in specific hospitality areas will be installed stadium-wide.

Juventus Stadium head Francesco Gianello has described the agreement as a “seismic step forward”. He added: “We are the first club in Italy to turn a football stadium into something far more spectacular.”
