Sports flooring manufacturer Junckers has agreed a deal with the International Basketball Federation (Fiba) to sponsor the EuroBasket 2017 national team tournament.
Junckers will serve as an official technical supplier for the event, which will take place from August 31 to September 17 next year in Finland, Israel, Romania and Turkey.
Junckers’ custom-made and specially-designed wooden courts will be used at each of the five venues that will stage games during the tournament.
Frank Leenders, Fiba Media and Marketing Services director general, said: “Thanks to its unique expertise, Junckers will deliver the participating teams first-class courts for the competition which will feature a new and inspiring brand identity across all the venues.”
Junckers partnered with Fiba to supply flooring for EuroBasket 2009 in Poland, and for the 2004 summer Olympic Games in Athens, Greece.
