Insurance provider JLT Australia has renewed its partnership with the Cricket Australia national governing body.
The new four-year deal will run until 2021. JLT will retain its position as the official risk partner of Cricket Australia.
The deal grants JLT naming rights to the Sheffield Shield inter-state competition from the 2017-18 season. The company will also receive brand exposure at men’s domestic and international cricket matches.
In addition, JLT will serve as the naming-rights sponsor of the One-Day Cup during the 2017-18 season.
Cricket Australia chief executive James Sutherland said: “We know there will be a big build up, with a focus on player preparation in the first part of the Sheffield Shield, which will provide JLT some fantastic opportunities.
“Domestic cricket is the nursery ground for our Australian stars and we look forward to working with JLT and supporting their growth objectives in their partnership with cricket.”
