Ironman teams up with Certified Piedmontese Beef

The Ironman triathlon series has entered into a partnership with Certified Piedmontese Beef.

The deal, the length of which was not disclosed, will see the two parties link up to provide Ironman athletes with ‘The Healthier Beef Option’.

Certified Piedmontese will serve as the official beef sponsor of Ironman North America.

As part of the deal, Certified Piedmontese products will be available to sample at various Ironman and Ironman 70.3 US events in 2019.

The breed originated from the Piedmont region of Italy and was first introduced to North America in the 1970s.
