Irish gaming firm to sponsor British horseracing

Irish gaming company SeanieMac and its affiliated betting firm Apollobet UK have agreed sponsorship deals with the British Horseracing Authority and The Jockey Club, which oversees the running of 15 of the UK’s leading racecourses.

As part of its deal with the BHA, SeanieMac/Apollobet UK will donate a percentage of their profits to the body. The companies will also receive significant brand exposure at BHA-sanctioned events.

Under its agreement with The Jockey Club, the companies will sponsor over 40 events over the coming months. The events will be covered extensively by UK television companies and newspapers, providing SeanieMac/Apollobet UK with further brand exposure.

“After two years since launching our first betting website, we have set 2016 to achieve some major milestones in launching a new platform, securing key sponsorships and aggressively growing our business,” SeanieMac chief executive Shane O’Driscoll said. “As soon as we file our audited financials for 2015, we will be providing updates and projections for 2016. We think it will be a truly groundbreaking year for us.”
