Indian Premier League Twenty20 cricket team the Chennai Super Kings has named Indian telco ACT Fibernet as its official connectivity and internet partner.
Under the agreement, the firm will provide Wi-Fi coverage for the team’s Chennai M.A Chidambaram Stadium (pictured).
In addition, ACT Fibernet and the Super Kings have planned a range of fan engagement activities and contests.
In a statement reported by the Hindu Business Line newspaper, ACT Fibernet said: "Over 40,000 fans seated in the stadium will be able to enjoy HD quality speeds on Wi-Fi simultaneously, access internet in the stadium, catch up on live videos, watch match replays, and indulge in social media activities."
