IPC signs apparel deal with Chinese firm

The International Paralympic Committee has entered into a partnership with 361°, under which the Chinese sportswear company will provide uniforms and products to the IPC’s governing board, VIPs and staff members during this summer’s Paralympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

The agreement names 361° the exclusive official apparel provider of the IPC until December 31, 2016.

Alexis Schaefer, director of commercial and marketing at the IPC, said: “With 361° also supplying all Rio 2016 Games technical staff and volunteers with uniforms, we believe IPC staff will certainly stand out from the crowd in what they wear during September’s Paralympic Games.”

As well as supplying uniforms for Games organisers, 361° will provide apparel for the participating teams from China and Greece. This year’s Paralympic Games will take place from September 7-18.
