US software company Infor has agreed a partnership with New Zealand Super Rugby franchise the Crusaders.
Effective from the 2015 Super Rugby season, Infor will sponsor the rugby union team’s kits and become the title sponsor of the club’s University Rugby Scholarship – the latter representing a first for the Christchurch-based franchise.
The terms of the agreement between Crusaders and Infor were not disclosed. The company joins banking group BNZ, manufacturing company Caterpillar and plasterboard, drywall systems, associated products and services manufacturer GIB as a major partner of the team.
Jo-Anne Ruhl, Infor managing director for the Pacific region, said: “This partnership with the Crusaders reflects our commitment to being actively involved in the future of Christchurch and the wider Canterbury region. It is one way we can continue our support for rebuilding the city following the devastating earthquakes in 2010 and 2011.”
Crusaders have won seven titles over the 19 years of the Super Rugby competition.
