The International Handball Federation has penned a four-year extension to its supplier agreement with vinyl floor manufacturer Gerflor.
Since 2009, Gerflor has provided the courts for all IHF tournaments. The new deal runs until 2017 and means Gerflor will supply courts to a second Olympic Games at Rio 2016.
Additionally, Gerflor is an IHF partner for all of the organisation’s world championships throughout the term. The renewed agreement was announced at the closing press conference for the IHF Women’s World Championship in Belgrade, where Brazil beat host Serbia in the final and Denmark claimed the bronze medal.
