Chinese telecommunications company Huawei has struck a sponsorship deal with Mexican Liga MX top-tier football team Club América.
Under the agreement, the terms of which were not disclosed, Huawei will become an official sponsor of the club.
The deal comes after Huawei yesterday (Thursday) agreed a partnership with Benfica, the most popular football club in Portugal.
Huawei’s wider commercial portfolio includes a host of other European teams such as AC Milan, Ajax, Arsenal, Atlético Madrid, Borussia Dortmund and Paris Saint-Germain.
