Social and extra care housing stock company Houses for Homes has reached a deal to be the main club partner of English Super League rugby league team Wigan Warriors.
Under the agreement, which will run for an initial year through the 2014 season, the Houses for Homes logo will appear on Wigan’s home and away shirts.
Wigan Warriors commercial director Geoff Warburton said: "There is no doubt this partnership is a completely different proposition to the traditional sports sponsorship models that are out there and it will make a difference to communities throughout the country."
Wigan will defend its Super League and Challenge Cup titles next season and the team’s new shirt bearing the Houses for Homes logo is due to launch on December 9.
