Hershey hits the slopes with USSA

Confectionery group Hershey has entered into a partnership with the US Ski and Snowboard Association.

The three-year deal is effective immediately and runs until 2019. The agreement covers the 2018 winter Olympic Games in Pyeongchang, South Korea.

Hershey will serve as an official sponsor and the confectionery partner of the USSA. Special events and on-site activations will be organised, while the partnership will also be promoted via digital and social media channels.

Hershey will have a presence at events including the US Grand Prix, Freestyle International, US Revolution Tour and Junior Nationals.

Hershey’s mint and gum brand Icebreakers will primarily lead the partnership through the US Grand Prix. Icebreakers will award one male and female athlete with the ‘Ice Breakers Break Through Award’ at each US Grand Prix weekend.

Hershey also holds partnerships with US Gymnastics, US Field Hockey and the United States Olympic Committee.
