Finnish beverages manufacturer Hartwall has terminated its naming rights agreement with Helsinki’s Hartwall Areena, citing the venue’s connection to Russian individuals on the international sanctions list following the country’s invasion of Ukraine.

Hartwall has held naming rights to the arena since it opened in April 1997, while it has also been the venue’s beverage supplier during this time.
