Health insurance company Simplyhealth has signed up as the title sponsor of UK long-distance running property the Great Run Series.
The agreement, the length of which was not disclosed, began with the Great Winter Run and the Great Edinburgh International Cross Country events in Scotland on Saturday.
The deal covers further events in city locations including Manchester, London, Bristol, Birmingham, Portsmouth, Edinburgh and Newcastle.
Events operated by the Great Run Series are open to runners of all abilities in distances that range from 5km to half-marathon length. The agreement with Simplyhealth also covers the Junior and Mini Great Run events.
