Australian events hire firm Moreton Hire has become the latest company to sign up as an official supplier for the 2018 edition of the Commonwealth Games multi-sport event, which will be staged in Gold Coast.
Moreton Hire will serve as the Games’ official marquee and temporary structures supplier.
The firm will be responsible for delivering marquee and temporary structures for Games venues, including ventilation and air-conditioning, fire equipment, stairs, flooring and lighting.
Peter Beattie, chairman of the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games Corporation, said: “Experience counts when you are managing an event of this scale and with our focus on delivering a great Games, having another experienced brand join the team is a real show of strength for both our commercial and delivery programs.”
The Gold Coast Commonwealth Games will run from April 4-15 next year.
