Spanish LaLiga football club Barcelona has signed its latest regional sponsorship deal in Brazil through an agreement with air freshener brand Glade.
The one-year deal with Glade, part of the SC Johnson group, was brokered by the Traffic Sports and NR Sports agencies.
NR Sports has managed the image rights of Barcelona’s star Brazilian forward Neymar since 2006 and also holds the exclusive responsibility for seeking sponsorship opportunities for the club in Brazil.
Through the partnership between Barcelona and Glade, the company will launch an exclusive FC Barcelona product line this month, while it will also run a promotion offering customers a chance to win a trip to watch a Barcelona game at the club’s Camp Nou stadium.
