German Tennis Federation signs up new national shop partner

Tennis equipment specialist Tennis Warehouse Europe has agreed a deal to become the national shop partner of the German Tennis Federation (DTB) governing body and its Tennis Germany (TDS) subsidiary.

The agreement will run for three years, from 2014 to 2016.

A division of Sports Warehouse, Germany-based Tennis Warehouse Europe said that it would support the DTB in both financial and marketing activities.

Under the deal, Tennis Warehouse Europe will work with the governing body to support German national teams and players in the Davis Cup and Fed Cup national tennis competitions.

The company will also co-operate with the DTB on activities surrounding its various websites, including the Tennis.de news and live streaming platform and the MyBigPoint national player portal.

“The strategic approach offered by the DTB and TDS for internet and communications was very convincing and fits perfectly into our strategy,” Tennis Warehouse Europe’s managing director, Rick Kerpsack, said.
