FXPrimus invests in Manchester City

English Premier League champion Manchester City has agreed a three-and-a-half year deal to make FXPrimus its official online forex trading partner.

The first major activation of the sponsorship comes next week when City undertakes a mid-season training camp in Abu Dhabi. FXPrimus will serve as the official partner of the club’s UAE Tour.

Manuel Pellegrini’s team will play German Bundesliga club Hamburg SV in a friendly match in Al Ain that will now contested as the FXPrimus Cup.

Beyond the UAE trip, FXPrimus will benefit from extensive marketing and promotional rights including a presence across Manchester City’s digital channels. Additionally, the company will have hospitality for all matches at City’s Etihad Stadium.

FXPrimus’ chief operating officer Terry Thompson said: “We are extremely proud to be partnering with the club to assist in our ambitious global growth plans. In analysing a potential relationship with Manchester City FC, we discovered many of our clients are also football fans, so it gives us great pleasure to bring them this sponsorship. We intend on offering many interactive ways for our clients to participate in this partnership, because ultimately this is for them.”
